The Pickers Cottage, c. 1850

Sleeps 2 | Bedrooms 1 | Bathrooms 1

The Pickers Cottage is a c.1850's classic Georgian style house, originally built as accommodation for fruit pickers. Situated in a historic area of inner city Hobart, the cottage is surrounded by heritage homes, and has a cute-as-a-button handmade red brick facade, with colonial windows, and original front door with leadlight above.

The inside of the cottage has been renovated to a high standard, with contemporary features, while retaining the charm of a historic cottage. Fully self contained, there are two bedrooms with queen and double beds, fitted with dreamy pure linen sheets and quality toppers. A cot can also be provided if you need. The modern bathroom has a walk in rainwater shower, luxury towels and complimentary Murchison-Hume bath amenities.

A fully equipped kitchen with eat-in farmhouse table has everything you need for cooking up a storm - pick up some fresh local produce & gourmet delights from the market and enjoy a Tasmanian feast. Breakfast goodies are also included in your stay.

The Pickers Cottage has a wonderful ambience and has been beautifully styled with bespoke furniture, artworks, books, plants, all modern conveniences, and warm lighting to make it feel like a true home away from home. Complimentary WiFi, smart TV and bluetooth speaker are available for your enjoyment, and heating keeps the cottage nice & warm in the winter months.

Outside just off the fully-equipped, modern kitchen is a private courtyard with table & chairs where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee before heading out to explore the city. The Picker’s Cottage is a warm & inviting place, perfectly situated for you to experience all that beautiful Hobart has to offer.
